These short courses are put on for businesses who cannot justify their own in-house courses. Not only will members of your team benefit from the variety and experiences of other attendees, but they will also get to network with businesses and business owners from the same geographical area – Just think of the potential sales leads!

Regular in-house courses include:

Team Building and Leadership – developing high performing teams through improved leadership, followership, team skills & processes, effective communication and overall team participation. Utilising highly participative outdoor (and indoor) activity based development, combining classroom rigour with practical team and project skills development, resulting in team and individual action plans. All this whilst having a cracking good time, not to mention a wealth of memory triggers!

Project Management – supportive, hands on training to ensure projects are appropriately defined, resourced and delivered on time and within budget. Simply being organised isn't enough, complex projects require proof of feasibility, a consistent reliable approach, a defined communication channel, regular reviews and updates, visual clarity, day-to-day management and a monitoring and control system. Why? Because if you don't the amount of money and time wasted can have a catastophic impact on your business.

Performance Management – hands on training for managers that enables them to manage the day-to-day performance of their team with a focus on individual performance targets and development needs. Plus how to keep your team motivated and focused on delivering quality and consistency across every aspect of your business.

Change Management – Working with the business owner and the senior management team to prepare for the implementation of strategic change whilst providing input on the effects of change, how to manage morale and the implications of change on individual, team and organisational performance.

Managing Conflict in the Workplace – practical training to identify, understand and manage conflict and misunderstandings between individuals and across teams. Conflict causes delays, frustration, waste and low levels of morale, yet your business needs conflict to promote new ideas and constantly improve processes. This course enables you to manage conflict so you reap the benefits whilst minimising the disruptive features.

Communication Skills – expert development of communication skills focusing on desirable outcomes and improved effectiveness across the board. Woolly, vague and ambiguous instructions lead to frustration, arguments, wasted effort and poor results. We offer an interim full and part-time Training Manager service, depending on your need or budget.

 

We provide a wide range of modular management skills development programmes to address a diverse range of needs, from the most newly appointed team leader/managers through to business owners and directors.
