Public Short Courses

TrainMeNow Ltd offer a range of Public Courses, all of which can be booked online (please use the online 'Booking Form' button on the left of this screen).

These short courses are available for anyone. They are low-cost and short in duration (typically half-day). By attending you benefit not only from the training itself, but from the variety and experiences of other people and businesses. You get to network with business owners and employees from all over your geographical area – Just think of the sales opportunities!

Regular topics for courses include:

Performance Management – Vital in todays climate. Develop the ability to manage the day-to-day performance of your team members with a focus on individual performance targets and development needs.  Plus how to keep your team motivated and focused on delivering quality and consistency across every aspect of your business. (Half-day and full-day formats)

Time Management - Busy, disorganised, frustrated, not enough hours in your working day? If you were to save just 4 hours a week through better self-organisation and better prioritising what you do, that would deliver you an 26 extra days per year! What could you do with all that extra time! This half-day time management workshop enables you to do just this, (indeed many people claw back 8 hours per week!) by adopting the simple tools, tips and hints, then setting up and working to your very own 'high performing week' you will overcome these symptoms and produce more for yourself and for your business. Learn to work SMARTer, not harder! (Half-day format).

Communication Skills – Another important topic! Do you feel isolated, not kept informed, powerless? Develop the communication skills of everyone in your team, focus on desired outcomes and improved effectiveness across everything you do. Get rid of woolly, vague and ambiguous instructions which only lead to frustration, arguments, wasted effort and poor results. Deliver clear concise instructions that lead to satisfaction all round, timely delivery and top-quality results. Get it right first time. (Half-day format)

Team Building and Leadership – developing "high performing teams" through improved leadership, followership, team skills & processes, effective communication and overall team participation. Utilising highly participative outdoor (and indoor) activity based development, combining classroom rigour with practical team and project skills development, resulting in team and individual action plans. All this whilst having a cracking good time, not to mention a wealth of memory triggers!

Project Management – supportive, hands on training to ensure projects are appropriately defined, resourced and delivered on time and within budget. Simply being organised isn't enough, complex projects require proof of feasibility, a consistent reliable approach, a defined communication channel, regular reviews and updates, visual clarity, day-to-day management and a monitoring and control system. Why? Because if you don't the amount of money and time wasted can have a catastophic impact on your business. (2 x half-days off-site incorporating a 'live' project to immediately add value within your own workplace.)

Change Management – Helping business owners and the senior managers prepare for the implementation of strategic change - providing input on the effects of change, how to manage morale and the implications of change on individual, team and organisational performance. A shorter version can be run for employees about to undergo a significant change within their workplace too. (Full-day and Half-day formats)

Managing Conflict in the Workplace – Conflict causes delays, frustration, waste and low levels of morale. Yet conflict is a necessary aspect of business life, without it you lose the capability to innovate and improve. This practical training course helps you identify, understand and manage conflict and misunderstandings between individuals and across teams. Reap the benefits that conflict brings whilst minimising the disruptive features. (Half-day format).

Additional Training-Related Services

We offer an interim full or part-time Training Manager service, depending on your need or budget.

 

We provide a wide range of modular management skills development programmes to address a diverse range of needs, from the most newly appointed team leader/managers through to business owners and directors.
